Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 June 2026

1. Acceptance of the Terms

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to your use of the Method family of websites (the "Websites"), including methodindie.gg, owned and operated by Method Gaming Limited and its affiliates ("Method", "We" or "Us"), together with any content, functionality and services offered on them. The Terms also include our Privacy Policy. Please read the Terms carefully before using the Websites. By using the Websites you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. Questions? Contact us at [email protected].

2. Changes to the Terms and the Websites

We reserve the right to update the Websites and these Terms from time to time, at our discretion, and will announce any major change in a prominent way. Your continued use of the Websites after updated Terms are published means you accept the changes.

3. Accessing the Websites

We work hard to improve the Websites but cannot guarantee they will be available uninterrupted, and we reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to some features. We will not be liable if all or any part of the Websites is unavailable at any time, nor for any data loss (see also the disclaimer below). We use encrypted browsing, but cannot guarantee that all use will be secure or that the Websites or their content are error-free. We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

The Websites and their original content, features and functionality are owned by Method and protected by UK, US, Canadian, European and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual-property laws. You agree not to copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display or perform, or republish any of our copyrighted material, except to the extent permitted by the Websites themselves. For the purposes of these Terms, "Content" includes information, data, text, photographs, videos, audio, written posts and comments, software, scripts, graphics and interactive features made available on or through the Websites.

We do not guarantee that any Content will be made available, and we may remove, edit or block any Content at our discretion, at any time, without notice and for any reason. You may use the Websites for personal, non-commercial use or legitimate business purposes, provided your activities are lawful and in accordance with these Terms. Game titles, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only. No right, title or interest in the Websites or their content is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We welcome your feedback. When you provide feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, irrevocable, perpetual licence to use it and to incorporate it into the Websites or other products or services.

5. Content standards

We strive to ensure that content made available through the Websites is lawful, appropriate and consistent with our standards. Content on the Websites should not:

  • be defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable;
  • promote sexually explicit material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
  • infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual-property right;
  • violate the legal rights (including rights of publicity and privacy) of others;
  • be likely to deceive any person; or
  • promote, advocate or assist any unlawful act.

6. Copyright infringement

We assume no liability for transmissions, communications or content provided by any third party. If you believe any Content infringes your copyright, please send a written takedown notice — including a signature, identification of the copyrighted work and the infringing material, your contact details, and statements of good-faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury — to [email protected].

7. Disclaimer, liability and indemnification

Your use of the Websites is at your sole risk. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for damages, direct or consequential, resulting from your use of the Websites. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your violation of any third party's rights. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without giving effect to any conflict-of-law rule. Any legal action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Websites shall be instituted exclusively in London, England.

9. Waiver and severability

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of it. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Method regarding your use of the Websites, superseding any prior agreements. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
