Aniimo: How to Unlock Whisperwake Isles (A Song from the Sea Quest)
A distant song is calling out to you.
The Whisperwake Isles are the brand new region that was added to Aniimo In the recent Season 1 Part 2 content update, there are several new creatures, more rewards, quality-of-life improvements, events, cosmetics, and more.
Unlocking this new location will require some progression to be done via the main story questline, as well as your in-game character's ranking. And with that said, here's how you can unlock the Whisperwake Isles through the brand new quest, A Song from the Sea.
How to Unlock The Whisperwake Isles in Aniimo
With the addition of the Whisperwake Isles, which feature multiple locations full of chests, more eggs, Pathfinder Challenges, and Sanctums, accessing this island isn't as straightforward as swimming across. There are a few requirements to be met that are highlighted below before venturing off to the Whisperwake Isles, and they are as follows:
- Get promoted to Trailblazer Rank I
- Reach Aniimo Level 55
- Have completed the main story questline up until A New Journey
If you haven't reached Trailblazer Rank I or Aniimo Level 55, the most efficient way to gain XP more quickly is to clear various in-game content such as doing Pathfinder Challenges, Sanctums, Holo-Battle Sim training, defeating Alpha bosses, side and journey quests, Aniimo collections, and completing tasks via the Daily Activities, Elite Training, Season Achievement, and Companion Handbook.
Additionally, once you've completed the A New Journey quest, the A Tale of Tide and Song quest will immediately unlock, and you must ensure you have met the above-mentioned requirements before starting the next chapter in the main story.
How to Complete the A Song from the Sea Quest in Aniimo
After meeting the above requirements and unlocking the A Song from the Sea quest, immediately track the quest from the Log feature before receiving a call from Dr. Lewis requesting to meet with you at Echoback Landing.
Meeting Dr. Lewis and Nicole at the quest-marked location at Echoback Landing, they explain the dilemma involving their monitoring devices and claims of a "wondrous sound" near this area.
Being tasked with investigating the surrounding coastal area, the whale bones, and the sea surface, you report back to Dr. Lewis and Nicole with the results of your investigation.
As Dr. Lewis begins assigning tasks to everyone, you mention that you wish to look into the legend of the Echoback song while keeping an eye on the equipment before Dr. Lewis and Nicole depart.
As nighttime approaches, you investigate the sea surface once again, but this time, a distant song can be heard, so you track and approach the source of this song, where you are greeted by some magical Aniimo before the waves crash onto you.
You arrive washed up on the shores of a strange island, where you begin your next set of adventures and thus unlock the Whisperwake Isles region and the next quest in Aniimo.
