Palworld, the immensely popular open-world survival-crafting and monster-collecting game by Pocketpair, is finally leaving Early Access in just a few days, with the full 1.0 release being made available to players as of July 10, 2026.

This release date was originally revealed at Summer Games Fest, where Palworld debuted a brand-new trailer showing off some of the changes and new content 1.0 will bring. This includes new pals, new areas to explore, the long-awaited World Tree, and even an 'ominous new threat' for players to deal with on their adventures throughout the Palpalgos Islands. You can take a look at the trailer for yourself on Palworld's official YouTube channel to catch a first glimpse of these additions.

As mentioned above, there will be a heap of new content and features for both returning and new players to enjoy. First of all, there will be the arrival of a new major island that will surely offer new Pals, items, materials, and ideal base-building locations to explore. In addition to this, there will also be a new region available around the World Tree, which players have been eagerly awaiting. Both of these new areas are expected to roughly double the amount of explorable/playable land across the world map, so there will be a whole new world of content to discover.

Pal breeders and players who are always hunting for those perfect genetic combinations also have some changes to look forward to with the new Genetic Recombination system. This new system essentially allows players to fuse high-tier Pals into unique server-specific variants with inherited traits. For those who tend to competitively breed their Pals either for base building/working efficiency or battling, Genetic Recombination adds a new layer of possibilities to the mix.

Lastly, those who host their own dedicated Palworld servers will be able to make use of the new server clustering feature. This lets owners link multiple server instances together, helping support higher player counts without the worry of a CPU bottleneck. Prior to 1.0, player count could have an impact on performance, with some bigger servers being forced to split into multiple unconnected servers. With server clustering, these larger communities will be able to enjoy higher player counts within a single world. Setup steps and config keys are reported to be arriving in the 1.0 patch notes, according to Pocketpair executives.

For those who have been on the fence about making the purchase ahead of the 1.0 release, now would be the perfect time, as the game is at its largest sale price to date. From now right up until the 10th, Palworld can be bought at a handy 30% discount. The Palpagos Islands await your arrival, Tamers!
