Aniimo: Secret of the Golden Helmet Quest Walkthrough

The Secret of the Golden Helmet is a hidden quest in Aniimo that can be easily missed since it does not appear in the Journey quest list. To complete this, you need to interact with a mysterious Golden Helmet, and capture the Mountain Woods Helmut.

Moreover, completing the quest also unlocks new regional spawns. So, if you want to know more about this quest, here’s a complete Secret of the Golden Helmet Quest guide that explains everything about it.

Secret of the Golden Helmet Quest Location in Aniimo

Unlike normal Aniimo quests, Secret of the Golden Helmet is an unmarked hidden quest. You will not find it in your Journey quest list, and there is no obvious quest icon directing you toward the location. Instead, you need to travel to the correct area in Russet Highlands and find the Golden Helmet yourself.

The easiest way to reach the area is to fast-travel to First Sight Sanctum in Russet Highlands. From there, head west toward the nearby cliffs and look for a small clearing where several Helmuts are gathered around a pedestal. When you reach the area, you will also see three named Helmuts surrounding the pedestal. We've mentioned their names below:

• Onlooking Helmut
• Watchful Helmut
• Devoted Helmut

Before approaching the group, make sure you have an Aniimo with the Cloak ability. Wisptis is one of the easiest options to get because it can be found in Berylline Vale at night.

How To Complete Secret of the Golden Helmet Quest in Aniimo

Once you have reached the clearing and prepared your Aniimos, you can begin the hidden quest. Below, we’ve mentioned the steps that you have to do for the Secret of the Golden Helmet quest.

Activate Cloak and Approach the Golden Helmet

First, Twine with your Cloak Aniimo and activate the Cloak ability. Once Cloak is active, approach the pedestal containing the Golden Helmet while remaining undetected.

Make sure that you do not walk toward the pedestal without Cloak, as the Devoted Helmut is positioned to guard the helmet, and approaching it normally will prevent you from interacting with it. Once you are close enough to the pedestal while cloaked, interact with the Golden Helmet by selecting the Sneak it away option.

Reveal the Mountain Woods Helmut

After interacting with the Golden Helmet, the object reveals its true nature. The Golden Helmet transforms into a Mountain Woods Helmut. The Mountain Woods Helmut is the main encounter of the Secret of the Golden Helmet scene, so be ready to battle and capture it immediately.

Catch the Mountain Woods Helmut

Once the Mountain Woods Helmut appears, battle it and use your Aniipods to capture it. It is recommended to bring higher-grade Aniipods if you have them available. After you successfully capture the Mountain Woods Helmut, the Secret of the Golden Helmet quest will be completed. You do not need to repeat the hidden scene to unlock the regional spawns.
