Aniimo Reveals Biggest Update Yet - 51 New Aniimo, PvP, New Maps, & More
Season 1 Part 2 can't come soon enough!
Aniimo has just revealed some initial details as a teaser for the upcoming Season 1 Part 2 update. This includes over fifty new Aniimo to catch and collect, the new Whisperwake Isles area, new story beats, 1v1 PvP, Egg Heist updates, Halloween events and activities, and more.
This new update will run from 29 October to 10 December, 2026. If you're wondering about the specifics of everything new heading to Aniimo when this patch goes live, then we've got you covered with a complete breakdown below.
51 New Aniimo Species
The most exciting part of the Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 update is undoubtedly the 51 new Aniimo species that will be added to the game. Many of these new Aniimo will likely appear as inhabitants of the new explorable region, Whisperwake isles.
From the portraits revealed so far, there appear to be 32 new species, and 51 Aniimo in general, meaning quite a few of these new species will also be releasing with additional variants such as alternate forms and Prismanas.
Specifically, some of these upcoming Prismana Aniimo will launch within this Season 1 Part 2 window as exclusives, with both Prismana Hypnyto and Prismana Ekrim becoming available to obtain in-game from October 29 until December 9. Hoptail will join them as the third exclusive Aniimo from November 6 to Novemebr 16 via Aniimo Discovery.
Four new Prismana forms will also become available within the Whisperwake Isles Region - Prismana Gachapus, Prismana Whirlbite, Prismana Sugartini and Prismana Jabster.
New Region - Whisperwake Isles
Whisperwake Isles is the new map region coming in the Season 1 Part 2 update, complete with four different areas to explore - Crescent Bay, Wildwater Gorge, Rosy Mirelands and Cloudreach Falls. Players will need to be around level 55 to enter the area and have achieved the I Trailblazer Grade. You will also need to have finished the A Tale of Tide and Song story.
As soon as the Whisperwake Isles open, they will also bring the Night Parade, Magical Night, Tidal Path Rewards, and First Visit to the Whisperwake Isles events for players to complete. Each event will conclude on December 9, 2026.
1V1 & Egg Heist Updates
Further refinements and changes are also going on with the in-game mechanics, interactions, and player events with Aniimo's upcoming patch. Specifically, real-time 1v1 PvP duels will be introduced, letting Pathfinders battle their friends.
The co-op mode, Operation: Egg Heist will also receive updates, attempting to include a balanced PvP mode. These changes are both permanent.
Aniimo Dash Racing
On top of this, a new limited-time game mode will also be brought to life. This game mode is called Dash Racing, involving a competitive race across the open world of Idyll. The preview image for this showcases a Scorchowl and Piopiota racing across a beach scene, meaning it more than likely involves the Aniimo Twine mechanic to traverse the lands and beat other players to map objectives.
New Story Progressions
There will also be new story progressions and questlines with the arrival of A Tale of Tide and Song, Secluded Seas, and Challenge of the Roaring Rapids. A Tale of Tide and Song also requires it as a prerequisite for unlocking the new Whisperwake Isles area, so players will want to ensure they dive into these new story beats as soon as possible!
Halloween Events & Seasonal Opportunities
We've already mentioned some of the events that will be going on in Season 1 Part 2, but on top of this there is additional Halloween events planned for the spooky season. These themed events will kick off the moment the update goes live and remain available until December 9 much like the rest of this content.
- Night Parade Event - Mix fragrances and decorate a candy house in this event, which involves rewards including Aniipod Ultra, Sparkling Crystal, Vein Essence, Tumbler, and a seasonal avatar frame.
- Magical Night - Home event offering Magic Pumpkin and Memoryglow Fruit as two limited crops. The preview for this event also mentions a mysterious Pumpkin God and pumpkin lanterns by the moonlight.
