Moonlight Peaks: How to Unlock the Job Board

Life in Moonlight Peaks is all about farming, fishing and friendship. Unlike the usual cosy farm games, your days will actually happen at night, with your character returning to their coffin before daybreak. Cast spells to help you farm and unlock the ability to transform into different creatures while growing your relationships with the townsfolk.

Werewolves, Witches and Seers are among some of the inhabitants of the town, and one of the best ways to increase your friendship is to lend a helping hand.This makes the job board one of the handiest features both for boosting bonds with the locals and making some extra cash - but it’s not available from the beginning.

How to Unlock the Job Board

As with most games of this nature, the ability to complete tasks for your acquaintances is a great way to make them happy, earn some extra money and score a freebie here and there. The Job Board is located just after the first bridge on your way into town, and sitting atop it is Albertus, a very chatty owl.

Around Day 15, when you leave your farm and head into town, you'll automatically trigger a cutscene. Albert us will draw your attention to the Job Board, and a little note explains how it works. You pick up a task and have a set number of days to complete it by visiting the person who posted the job.

Multiple jobs can be posted at once, and you can accept as many as you like, but be sure to keep track of how many days you have and what items you have available on your homestead.

While some postings are requests for items like crops or craftables, others will, in fact, be offering you something instead. Simply visit the person within the time frame to collect your free item, and once you've received it, the task will be marked as 'completed' in your Quest Log. New jobs are posted daily, and it's a great way to build up some extra pocket money.
