Aion 2: Cleric Leveling Guide

Here's a leveling guide for Clerics in Aion 2!

4 min read

The Cleric is one of the most versatile classes in Aion 2 that provides healing and defensive buffs, while also dealing decent damage in PvE progression. Moreover, it is an excellent choice if you want to level consistently while performing well in dungeons and PvP.

However, choosing the right Active skills and Stigmas is essential for efficient progression. So, if you want to level effectively using Cleric, here’s a complete guide that explains everything about the class.

Cleric Class in Aion 2, Explained

The Cleric class is the dedicated healing class of the game.  With this class, you can provide a lot of healing and utility to teammates when playing dungeons. Healing Light restores health, Radiant Recovery provides healing and removes debuffs, and Light of Regeneration grants healing over time.

The class can also deal damage through Earth's Retribution, Chain of Torment, Condemnation, Divine Aura, and Bolt. An effective way to play Cleric is to alternate between attacking enemies and restoring health when necessary rather than relying exclusively on healing.

So, your ideal build depends on your preferred playstyle. If you like to support, the healer build works well, as you can support teammates in dungeons or when playing in groups. However, a Damage PvE build is ideal if you are a solo player and want to progress through the Episode quests effectively.

Cleric Healer Build in Aion 2

The PvE Healer build ensures group survivability. By using this build, you can utilize your healing capabilities to tackle difficult enemies safely, while also dealing damage whenever healing is not required. So, choose this build if you play in groups.

Moreover, the build is a solid choice for Cleric because it gives you more opportunities to recover from mistakes. However, the trade-off is that you will deal less overall damage compared to an offensive setup, so enemies will take longer to defeat when playing solo.

How to Level Up using Cleric Healer Build

If you want to level up with this build, complete the main story quests to gain EXP and unlock additional activities. If your progress slows because of a level requirement, complete nearby regional quests or a sealed dungeon. Your healing abilities will help you sustain longer even when fighting against tougher enemies and bosses.

In dungeons and PvP, consistently use Light of Regeneration for sustained healing, Healing Light for immediate recovery, Radiant Recovery to heal allies and remove debuffs, and Summon Resurrection to revive fallen teammates. Likewise, use Yustiel's Power before sustaining heavy damage and save Absolution for last, as it can come in handy in dire situations.

So, if you are using this build, prioritize healing and defensive upgrades while improving your gear as you progress. This build is ideal for clearing challenging dungeons and PvP where healing is required, although solo enemies can take longer to defeat.

Cleric Damage Build in Aion 2

The Damage Cleric build works best when you want to defeat enemies quickly while completing quests and farming EXP. Its Stigma skills provide offensive buffs and damage boosts, which allow you to deal more damage and spend less time on utility.

The Damage Cleric build is an excellent choice for clearing PvE content efficiently. Its Stigma and Active Skills work together to deal consistent damage while providing enough healing for sustain. However, it provides less healing power and utility than the dedicated Cleric Healer build.

How to Level Up using Cleric Damage Build

To level up using this build, complete the main story quests to earn EXP. When you encounter a level requirement, complete a sealed dungeon for additional experience. As the build can deal a lot of damage, you can complete Episode quests quickly, which reward you with better gear. That way, you can significantly boost your progression in PvE content.

During combat, activate Noble Aura to deal sustained damage, then use Chain of Torment to weaken your target. After that, follow up with Condemnation and use Earth's Retribution to deal damage while restoring MP. Lastly, activate Prayer of Amplification during your main damage window, and use Bolt or Judgment Thunder to deal even more damage.

So, prioritize Damage and Stigma skill upgrades that enhance your damage rotation, especially the synergy between Earth Punishment and Condemnation when the required specialization is available. This build is best for solo progression where you have to deal tons of damage while sustaining through stages with Cleric’s healing skills.
