Aniimo: How to Find & Catch Dazmand
Idyll is about to be electrified with the arrival of a new support Aniimo!
A new Aniimo is appearing on the island of Idyll for a limited time, and the Polaris Institute has issued new research investigations to be conducted in the region. As such, Pathfinders can accept this latest request to track down and examine the Electric Support Aniimo, Dazmund, by completing a series of tasks, for which they will be compensated by the Institute for their efforts.
While there's not much information recorded about this electrifying Aniimo, it's up to Pathfinders to learn more about Dazmand and its Aniimo family while adding a new support hero to their team composition. How to Catch Dazmand in Aniimo
Currently, there are two confirmed ways Pathfinders can catch and train Dazmand, and both require completing the Aniimo Discovery: Dazmand event, which ends on October 8th, 2026. As it remains unclear if the spawn rates for this Aniimo family will increase once the limited-time event ends, for now, Pathfinders must therefore catch as many Aniimo during this event.
The first way to catch a Dazmand is to start conducting research investigations that find Pathfinders tracking the Dazmand to a location somewhere in Idyll. Once the Dazmand and Pomegg are spotted, switch to the Tumbler Aniipod to catch all the Aniimo to complete the research investigation, and don't forget to record the data at the Research Console at the Outpost.
These investigations must be done multiple times throughout the event to complete a series of Ecological Investigation tasks found on the event page, where Pathfinders must catch as many Dazmand as they can, defeat Aniimo when in a team, and use its skills when in combat to receive rewards.
The other way to get a Dazmand is once they've caught a Pomegg; they must have completed the Ecological Investigation tasks to be awarded the Thunder Soul, Dazmand's evolution material, needed to unlock the Dazmand evolution for Pomegg.
From the Aniimo Management tab, find the highest-rated Pomegg, level it to Aniimo Level 25 before using the Thunder Soul to unlock the Dazmand evolution path, and then evolve the Aniimo using a Roar Stone. There is another evolution path once Pomegg has evolved to Dazmand, as once they meet the requirements, they can evolve Dazmand to Pomawk using a Sprout Stone.
What Are Dazmand's Abilities & Skills in Aniimo?
Dazmand is an Electric/Support Aniimo that Pathfinders have the opportunity to catch in-game, albeit for a limited time. This Aniimo is renowned for its flashy combat style involving plenty of kicking strikes, dashes, and AoE attacks that deal Electric damage.
Dazmand also applies a debuff, which, once five or more stacks are applied, will cause paralysis for a period, and the Aniimo can also temporarily boost the team's critical rate through one of its skills. It also has Homeland Abilities, Lightning, and Artisanship, making this Aniimo a well-rounded addition to your Homeland for electricity manipulation and crafting furniture and other homemade goods.
Currently, Dazmund is the featured Aniimo alongside its Aniimo family in this Discovery event, which concludes on October 8th, 2026, where Pathfinders will have a limited time to track down and catch this electrifying Aniimo. Other than catching this Aniimo in its habitat, there are also various tasks issued to Pathfinders by the Polaris Institute that can be completed during this event to receive various rewards.
