Aniimo: How to Get Melloblum & Prismana Melloblum
Here's how to get all Melloblum variants in Aniimo.
In Aniimo, Melloblum is a final evolution with a pure Grass Type. It can be a powerful combatant and handy member of your team due to its ability to both increase damage from critical hits and offer HP restoration when landing critical hits. Essentially, it's a brilliant pillar of your team if you're building around Grass Type crit-fishing monsters.

Where to Find & Catch Melloblum in Aniimo
In Aniimo, the first way that you can get Melloblum is through wild encounters, and luckily there is one spot specifically on the map where it will always spawn.
Melloblum can be found in the back room of the Rosetower Woods ruins in the Breezy Plains map area. In these ruins, you will find multiple squads of Budsquire being marched around by some Towerwood Thornblade variants, but a single Melloblum will accompany the group in this specific room.

Just keep in mind that Aniimo in this area are around level 40-50, so you'll need to be prepared with an appropriately trained team or strong Fire Type counters. Once again, Scorchowl is one of the best options to make things easier.
How to Evolve Budsquire into Melloblum
The second way to acquire a Melloblum in Aniimo is by evolving a Budsquire. That's right, that cute little fella doesn't just evolve into Thornblade; it also has a split evolution line, with Melloblum being the other final form.
However, there are slightly different evolution requirements to follow if you want your Budsquire to become a Melloblum instead of a Thornblade.
Melloblum Evolution Requirements
- Budsquire must be level 27+
- Budsquire must have the Faithful personality stat
- Sprout Stone x3
- Stamen of Cubbo's Rose x1
How to Get the Faithful Personality Stat in Aniimo
Personality is generated at random in Aniimo, from the moment an Aniimo spawns or is hatched. Every personality stat is also responsible for a stat boost affecting health regeneration, defense, critical hit chance, attack power, and more.
Every Aniimo will have one of two personality types for each personality stat, as listed below:
- E - Energetic (ATK +2%, BREAK +2%), or I - Instinctive (REGEN +4%)
- S - Practical (DMG +4%) or N - Nimble (Crit Rate +5%)
- T - Tenacious (P.DEF +6%) or F - Faithful (M.DEF +6%)
- J - Judicious (HP +4%) or P - Playful (DMG Reduction +4%)
You can randomly re-roll a personality with use of a Psyche Fruit, which causes an instant change on almost any Aniimo personality upon consumption. Some personalities cannot be changed, though - but this is usually restricted to special or rare Aniimo.
How to Get Sprout Stones in Aniimo
Sprout Stones can be obtained only by defeating the Alpha Boss Leafy, as this is a material drop exclusive to this Aniimo.
Leafy can be found on the map location above, but keep in mind you will need to battle and defeat it, wait for it to respawn, battle again, and then compelte this loop one more time to get the stones needed for Melloblum.
How to Get Stamen of Cubbo's Rose in Aniimo
Lastly, you just need 1x Stamen of Cubbo's Rose. These can be obtained from the glowing Cubbo's Rose flowers in the overworld, which are found throughout the Rosetower Woods map section.
Search for the glowing flowers on the ground and then attack them by Twining with an Aniimo. The flower will now release sleep pollen, so quickly switch to Budsquire to harvest the flower, as they are immune to these effects.
How to Get Melloblum Prismana in Aniimo
Prismana Melloblum is a rare variant of Melloblum with a Grass/Light Dual-Typing, and like other Prismana, it can only be found at a specific spawn point on the map during a Prismana Flow event.
Furthermore, Melloblum Prismana will only spawn during Prismana Flow events during the Vein Abundance Week, which runs from September 28 - October 5, 2026.
During this time, Melloblum Prismana can be found at Rosetower Woods, on the cliff that overlooks the castle ruins where you can find regular Melloblum, Budsquire, and Towerwood Thornblade. Be sure to hunt the surrounding area thoroughly, and you should have no problem spotting the bright, shiny pink of this Aniimo in the wild.
