Aniimo: Should You Pick Helion or Lunara?

Find out whether you should pick Helion or Lunara at the start of Aniimo.

Updated 2 min read

When you first boot up Aniimo for the first time, it'll take you barely 30 minutes before you're met with a daunting decision: pick between two different Aniimo. Based on the sun and moon, Helion and Lunara have unique combat abilities and will be your main guides throughout the main story. But you can only choose one at the start, so if you're struggling with knowing who to pick, we'll help you choose between Helion and Lunara in Aniimo.

Do you pick Helion or Lunara in Aniimo?

Deciding between Helion and Lunara in Aniimo mainly relies on what kind of combat style you're looking for. If you like to be up close and personal with your enemies, pick Helion, as he's adept at close combat and striking targets in a small area with impressive burst potential.

Otherwise, pick Lunara if you'd rather stay far back and use ranged area attacks. Lunara also has high recovery, so you shouldn't need to worry too much about getting to low health mid-combat.

For the average player, Helion may be the way to go. He's your typical melee fighter who mainly strikes single targets. Lunara is good for those who are more averse to combat and would rather play Aniimo a little more laid-back.

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to receive both Helion and Lunara. The Aniimo you don't choose goes dormant early in the game's story. Still, there are hints that the other Aniimo will return, and you can meet them again later in the game.
