Final Fantasy Resonance: How to Unlock the Warrior of Light

The one who started the original adventure.

2 min read

With Final Fantasy Resonance, Square Enix is bringing back the turn-based combat that started the series. However, in this title, a feature known as Visions is making its way into the gameplay. This Vision system brings warriors from other Final Fantasy games to join you in battle.

One example of this is the original Warrior of Light himself, from the first Final Fantasy game. You can unlock these Visions in Sanctums of Light that are placed around the world of Final Fantasy Resonance. In this guide, we'll show you where you can find this Warrior and share the abilities he brings.

Where to Find the Warrior of Light's Sanctum

If you are eager to unlock this classic character, the Sanctum of Light for the Warrior of Light is one of the first ones that you can reach in the game. This Sanctum is located in the first zone, the Kingdom of Grandshelt. In the desert area, look for the Village of Kol; the Sanctum should be close to the north.

Inside the Sanctum, you will be asked three questions regarding the Warrior of Light story (Final Fantasy I). You can answer however you wish; you will unlock the Vision regardless of your answers. The answers include some that are related to the decisions the Warrior of Light made in the original story, or you can choose something that goes closer to what you believe in.

Warrior of Light Role

  • Role: Sentinel
  • Element: Light, Lightning, Earth, Recovery
  • Resonance: Crystal Braver - Deal physical damage to all enemies, cast Regen on self, and increase own defense and spirit for 3 turns.
  • World: Final Fantasy I

This Warrior is not only the one who started the Final Fantasy journey, but also one of the first Visions that will accompany you on the Resonance adventure.

To equip the Warrior of Light as a Vision once you unlock it, head to the Equipment and Abilities section and select it there. The Warrior fits well as Jake's Vision, since the elements he brings are those Jake lacks, especially the Earth and Recovery spells.
