Moonlight Peaks: How To Upgrade Your Inventory
In a game focused on resource management, inventory space is a big deal.
Farming Sims are, at their core, all about resource management. You need stuff for upgrades, you need stuff for recipes, stuff for caring for animals, decorating your home. All of which only scratches the surface. The same can be said for Moonlight Peaks.
You'll need more stuff than you could possibly carry. But, if you figure out how to upgrade your inventory, you'll at least have a little more room in your bag, so you aren't running back and forth to your farm quite as much.
It's not well signposted how to do this, and can be easily missed. So, here is a quick guide on how to upgrade your inventory in Moonlight Peaks.
How To Upgrade Your Inventory
When you begin your adventure in Moonlight Peaks, you'll have a bag than can hold a total of 20 items. Enough to get you started, but by the end of the first season, chances are that you'll be in desperate need of more pocket space.
The good news is that you can upgrade your inventory right away, provided you have the gold to make it happen.
If you head into town and go to the shop on the south-west of town called Web and Wonder, you'll find Sabrina. Provided she is tending shop that day, you can access her merchant menu.
Here, you'll eventually be able to buy spells and upgrade your mana, when you fix your broken wand. But, alongside this, you'll also be able to purchase an inventory upgrade.
This costs a total of 2,000 gold, and will increase your inventory slots, giving you a total of 30 slots to work with.
How To Make Gold For The Upgrade
You may be wondering, what can you do to make the gold needed to buy this upgrade?
Well, the simple answer is, a lot of things. But some are quicker than others.
We would suggest leaning into growing berries as your main crop and then utilizing Kegs to turn this into wine, as this will allow you to make hundreds of golf per item shipped.
Alongside this, we would also suggest you do the following to supplement this:
- - Forage plants, shells and wild crops
- - catch and sell fish
- - Dig up every dig spot
- - Complete initial quests
Stick to this plan, and within a little over a week in-game, you should have more than enough to purchase this upgrade.
