Best Medicine Pals in Palworld 1.0
Medicine Pals can reduce Sanity drain and heal afflictions, making them a key component of a successful Palworld base.
Medicine Pals may not seem that useful in the early stages of Palworld, but you'll start to need their services much more often as you put your Pals through more intensive labor. Unlike other Pal abilities, Medicine isn't as common as you'd think in Palworld.
Thankfully, there are plenty of places to get Medicine Pals for your base at all stages of the game. Whether you're just starting out or you're planning your fourth base in an endgame zone, these are the best Medicine Pals in Palworld 1.0.
Best Early Game Medicine Pal
In the early hours of Palworld, your best bets for Medicine Pals are Lifmunk and Cinnamoth. Lifmunk is incredibly common in the starting zones, and you can catch it fairly easily with regular Pal Spheres. It only has a level one Medicine skill, but you can upgrade it by sacrificing duplicate Lifmunks at a Pal Condenser.
While it's a bit harder to find than Lifmunk, Cinnamoth is a significant early-game upgrade for your base's Medicine production. It comes with a base Medicine level of 2, which gives it noticeably faster medical crafting speeds and SAN reduction at a Clinic.
You can improve any Pal's Medicine suitability with Applied Medicine Production Technique manuals, which can be found in chests and dungeons.
Best General Medicine Pal
Once you've established a foothold in the Palpagos Islands, you should add a Petallia to your roster of Pals. Your new flowery friend comes with a base Medicine skill of 4, which is more than enough for most bases unless you're working your Pals into the ground.
Another solid choice is Gildra, found in the desert biome in the northeastern part of the map. It's one of the most common Pals in the region, so upgrading it via the Pal Condenser doesn't take very long at all. If you can make it to Feybreak, then Splatterina is another great Medicine option as well.
Best Overall Medicine Pal
The absolute best Medicine Pal in Palworld is Silvance. It has a Medicine suitability level of eight, which is the highest in the entire game. The only problem is that it's exclusive to the World Tree, the last region you'll visit in Palworld.
Before then, you can use Bellanoir Libero. This Pal has a Medicine level of seven, but you can only capture it after defeating it in a raid battle at Summoning Altar. The required summoning slabs can be found in high-level dungeons. After a few raids, you'll be able to start breeding your own Bellanoir Libero army.
