Palworld: All Black Marketeer Locations in 1.0

Rare Pals, free money, and lots of dodgy dealings.

Updated 5 min read

Despite feeling quite immoral, trading with Black Marketeers can be extremely profitable and provide you with a helpful boost to your base and overall Palworld progress. But sometimes they can be hiding in quite obscure locations. This guide will show you how to find them and what exactly they have to offer.

Black Marketeer Inventories

ou might be thinking: well, what do Black Marketeers even sell - is it worth the journey? Most Black Marketeers dabble in Pal trade, offering you the exclusive chance to buy rare Pals relative to the area they reside in. This is often a good way to add Pals to your Palpedia that you may have missed, and saves you from wasting time backtracking to find them.

Black Marketeer inventories do differ depending on which one you visit. It appears that they pull for a similar pool of loot, with some Pals on offer that are more suited to the environment that you found the trader in. For example, the Duneshelter Black Marketeer features Palumba, Lovander, and Relaxaurus Lux who can be found in the desert.

Selling your Pals to Black Marketeers is an amazing way to build up your Gold reserves, especially if you're trigger-happy with Pal Spheres like me. More importantly, these back-street vendors will also take any captured humans off of your hands.

Speaking of humans ... a good strategy is to capture your very own Black Marketeer in a Pal Sphere and force him to trade Pals with you. If you want to refresh his stock, simply pop him out of the Pal Box and right back in again.

All Black Marketeer Locations

I have managed to find 15 official Black Marketeer locations, all standing proudly at their random hangout spots. Here is how to find all 15 Black Marketeer locations.

If you can't find a Black Marketeer at the exact location, sometimes they won't spawn in due to presumed bugs. If you fast travel back and forth or exit the area entirely before returning, the Black Marketeer should reappear.

Windswept Hills (-14, -547)

This Black Marketeer is easily reachable by fast travelling to the nearby Watchtower and trekking south. Your illegal vendor can be found among yellow trees on the edge of the land next to the cliff.

Mount Flopie Summit (-15, -84)

This little guy is a bit harder to find. You'll have to head west from the nearby fast travel point and look for a big hole in the ground. Jump to the bottom and look for elevated platforms around the bottom; you'll find this Black Marketeer randomly hanging out on a strange outcropping.

Icy Weasel Hill (-37, 241)

This Black Marketeer is probably one of the quickest to access instantly. He's found a good view of the icy mountains, right next to the fast travel point.

However, this vendor didn't load in for me straight away, so try fast-travelling back and forth until he appears if you're having the same problem as me.

Whisperwind Cliffs -95, -355

You'll find this guy near the Whisperwind Cliffs fast travel point, hanging out right next to the cliff. He's got a great sense of direction as he's kind of in the centre of the Palpagos Islands.

Land of Absolute Zero (104, 475)

As probably the most obscure and absurd location in this list, you'll have to dive straight off the cliff after using the nearby fast travel point. You'll find this sneaky Black Marketeer next to an Ancient Ruin on a random outcropping at the back of the island. If it feels like you're going to the wrong place ... you're probably doing something right for this one.

Verdant Stream (141, 172)

This Black Marketeer is literally standing on the edge of the cliff, waiting for his Titanic moment. There's a nearby fast travel point, and a collectible waiting for you right next to him.

Sealed Realm of Frozen Wings (148,-361)

This illegal vendor is one of the closest to the spawn area, and thus one of the easiest to find. He resides near Alpha Pal Penking's domain.

Frostbound Mountains (212,-16)

In another strange location is our Frostbound Mountains Black Marketeer. There are many fast travel locations to utilise in his immediate vicinity. Find the waterfall, and this guy will be hanging out on an outcropping beside it.

Cove Mineshaft (-277, -160)

This Black Marketeer lurks inside a mineshaft; the entrance is pictured above. You're looking for a small entrance somewhere in the black rock wall, underneath a wooden bridge. There are a few nearby fast travel options, so take your pick!

Duneshelter (349, 367)

You'll find this guy hanging out behind the Duneshelter trading hub outside of the city's walls. He's just enjoying the nice sunset.

Eastern Wild Island (466, -123)

You'll find this guy surrounded by cages and suspicious instruments in a small outcropping.

PIDF Tower (486, 342)

Starting from the Tower Boss, you'll need to travel west and descend the cliff to reach lower ground. You're looking for a small entrance in the rocky wall; you might find some Pals hanging around outside.

Ruined Fortress City (-604, -239)

As one of the more dangerous locations, this Black Marketeer is hanging out a bit too close to a strong Bounty Target and an even stronger Alpha Pal patrolling the ruins. You'll find him at the edge near the edge of the island.

Mount Obsidian (-796, -630)

Make your way to the western edge of the volcanic region; you'll find this Black Marketeer on the beach where the sand meets the black volcanic rock.

Underneath the Isolated Church (32, -422)

Fast travel to the Isolated Church, which conveniently houses Zoey just chilling inside. If you head to the west and descend to the ground floor, then backtrack on yourself to be as under the church as you can be - you'll find the entrance to a mineshaft in the rocky wall where the Black Marketeer resides.

Good luck on your Black Marketeer hunt; make sure to capture your very own if you want quick and easy access to higher-level Pals.
