In Aniimo , Pathfinders will catch plenty of creatures that, in many cases, will be duplicates. For this reason, you may find yourself wondering what to do with them, especially as they take up space within your inventory.

Luckily, there are a handful of ways that Pathfinders can best utilize any duplicated Aniimo to get the most value. So Pathfinders, if you have plenty of duplicated Aniimo in your inventory, here's how they can be best used and which types of Aniimo are more valuable.

How to Manage & Use Duplicate or Extra Aniimo

Before deciding the best uses for the duplicated Aniimo within the inventory, you must visit the Research Console at an Outpost and report all data, meaning all the Aniimo caught during exploration and completing quests.

Once this has been completed, Pathfinders can check all the Aniimo they currently have by accessing the Aniimo Management feature, where they can find all caught Aniimo, including extra or duplicates.

The next course of action is what you can do with duplicated Aniimo, so keep in mind every Aniimo's potential. An Aniimo's rating is one such way of determining its potential and value. Every Aniimo will have one of four ratings, namely Perfect, Elite, Good, and Common.

Generally, the higher an Aniimo's rating, the better their potential and, of course, the fewer resources needed to level them or raise their potential. Additionally, every Aniimo will have a role assigned, whether it be a DPS, Break, Heal, or Support, which will help Pathfinders in assembling a Combat team, so picking the strongest and most effective units is essential.

By opening the Management feature and selecting the Explore tab on the right side of the UI, Pathfinders can then start sorting their duplicates. They can be used in various ways, which have been explained below.

Experience Materials Conversion

Having gone through their inventory, sorting which Aniimo to keep, use, exchange, or trade, one of the best methods of utilizing duplicated Aniimo is by converting them into materials needed to level or raise your other monsters.

This method is extremely useful as it will allow Pathfinders to save more valuable materials needed in leveling or raising Aniimo by using duplicated Aniimo of a lower potential and rating.

To convert duplicated Aniimo, head to the Aniimo Management feature from the in-game menu and select the "Manage" button, where you can mark all the duplicates. Once the selection has been made, click on the "Release" button, and you will permanently release the Aniimo from your inventory in exchange for Release Gifts, which include Growth Flowers and Growth Buds.

Inherit Training from Aniimo

Another way Pathfinders can best use duplicated Aniimo is by fusing weaker or duplicated Aniimo units with their stronger counterparts. This option would be more advisable for Pathfinders when they've got Perfect Aniimo as their main or primary unit with strong overall attributes, so you can use your duplicated Aniimo of the same species and fuse them to inherit their progress.

Moving forward with this process is permanent, much like using duplicates to convert to experience materials, so make sure of the decision as the primary Aniimo will inherit the duplicated Aniimo's EXP, level, resonance, and their Star Rank, as well as any additional training progress like Capability Awakening, Capafruit, and more.

To start the process, navigate to the Aniimo Management feature and select the primary Aniimo. On their profile, click on the exclamation mark tab and select the "Inherit" button. Next, you'll be brought to the Aniimo Inheritance UI where you can select the duplicated unit to fuse with the primary.

Homeland Workers

For Pathfinders who have progressed far into the game, where they've unlocked the Homeland feature, they can use the duplicated Aniimo to take on various jobs around the Homeland.

The Homeland feature is unlocked following the completion of the story's first chapter and reaching level 20, where Pathfinders can access the feature in the menu, and once the tutorial quest is completed, they'll be given some land that can be utilized to produce various resources, food, furniture, and plenty more.

The production that takes place on the plot is done by the Aniimo that Pathfinders will place on the property, so to ensure the production process goes smoothly, ensure that they're well taken care of with enough food, water, and more, or trouble will arise.

Pathfinders can move from location to location using their RV, as there are multiple locations across Idyll where they can set up production, sell their resources produced, and have access to Aniimo for specific jobs.

To determine how useful every Aniimo may be when taking on Homeland tasks, navigate to the Aniimo Management feature from the menu and click on any Aniimo that you've caught. On their profile, select the exclamation point tab, and beside "Homes Abilities," Pathfinders can view the Homeland abilities that an Aniimo has - one being an element and the other being a general job that they can fulfil.

Take note that every Home Ability has a leveling system between 1 and 4, with four being the highest level, so keep that in mind when sorting through duplicated Aniimo. Additionally, the number of Aniimo that can be assigned to the Homeland depends on the in-game progression by viewing the RV Level, meaning the higher the RV Level, the more workers that can be placed to further the production process.

Trading With Fellow Pathfinders

The final method that Pathfinders can best utilize their duplicated Aniimo is to trade with other Pathfinders. Trading can be incredibly useful as Pathfinders may be able to help another Pathfinder grow their collection and vice versa.

However, to trade, this feature is only between invited friends, as there's no in-game location or marketplace where trading can be conducted freely between others on the same server. In addition, a Pathfinder must reach the Good Friend rank and have their friends added before meeting them in-game, where they can trade Aniimo from their in-game profiles.
