Aniimo: How to Catch Dreaple (Location & Conditions)

Dreaple can only be caught in Aniimo after a player completes two specific prerequisites. Thankfully, this Aniimo isn't a one-time-only catch. After completing the first unlocking requirement, you can trigger the second as many times as you want. The only caveat is that only one Dreaple will spawn at a time, so you'll need to be patient if you're trying to get a high-quality copy of this critter in Aniimo.

How to Spawn a Dreaple in Aniimo

Dreaple is one of the two evolutions of the Nimbi; a fluffy sheep Aniimo that roams around various parts of the Breezy Plains, but nowhere as much as Nimbus Fields.

You've likely come across Nimbi's more infamous evolution, Turbo, multiple times. Turbo is the Prismana Aniimo for the Nimbus Fields region, and they appear during rainstorms to my delight.

To get a Dreaple, though, you can't just wander Nimbus Fields and hope for the best. Two tasks must be completed for this Aniimo to appear.

Complete the Sleeping Flock Quest

The Sleeping Flock quest is a small Aniimo quest that occurs in Nimbus Fields. You'll find a large plant on the west side of the local Sanctum with several platforms.

Two of those will be hosting a Nimbi, and you'll see a locked Lumin Amber at the top of the plant that designates this as an Aniimo puzzle; a puzzle you must solve by Twining with an Aniimo.

Catch and Twine with a Nimbi and join them on the plant by hopping onto the free platform. You'll be prompted to have a nap with the Nimbi, and get to witness a sweet Aniimo nursery rhyme cutscene.

After it finishes, the Lumin Amber will find its way down to you.

Catch or Defeat 30 Emberpup Family Aniimo

The second condition that allows you to spawn a Dreaple in Aniimo is also the one you have to repeat each time you want to catch one. Head out to any Emberpup habitat and catch or defeat 30 Emberpups, Flameruffs, and/or Scorchhowls.

The fastest and most effective way to do this is to visit the Beast Fang Ridge Nurture Bloom and activate it.

If you get the Emberpup version of the Bloom's summons, you'll knock out 20 of the 30 Emberpup Family members you need to get a Dreaple in less than a minute.

They aren't exactly the hardest fight in Aniimo, but you can also use Aniipod Megas for the stronger members of the evolutionary line or throw two Tumblers out to finish the Nurture as quickly as possible.

To force the Bloom to only summon Emberpup family members, offer Fire Shards.

• Forest of Falling Stars
• The Argent Strait
• Mistwoods
• Echoback Landing

Where to Catch Dreaple in Aniimo

You can find Dreaple sleeping at a small ruin that's resting against the side of a hill in Nimbus Fields. It's not too far from the Nimbus Fields Nurture Bloom.

From the Bloom, head northwest, following the hill down instead of staying on the same level as the bloom and the upper part of the tower-like ruin nearby.

You'll come across the ruins of a small temple, with a short set of stone stairs. Dreaple will be sleeping at the front of the ruin. Because they're asleep, you can catch them without battling them if you have a decent Aniipod on you. I recommend using an Aniipod Mega for a fast catch.

You can, of course, fight them if you wish to.

Dreaple is a Dark-type Aniimo, so they are weak against Wind- and Light-type Aniimo.

To spawn another Dreaple after you catch this one, you'll need to go out and disturb the Emberpup family again.
