Aniimo: How to Reach the Junior Wayfarer Title (All Requirements & Rewards)
Let's never admit how long we've all spent playing this since release.
For Aniimo players out there who want their free Prismatic Pact Aniimo, there's just one goal: Reach Junior Wayfarer. Also known as Wayfarer I, this is the first Polaris Institute title that doesn't include the "student" designation and clearly shows you've progressed enough to understand the world and what you need to do.
How to Get Wayfarer I in Aniimo
Wayfarer I is the third Polaris Institute Rank that you can achieve as a player. In order, you start as Student I, then progress to Student II and Student III, and then you can complete the quest and assessment for Wayfarer I.
You need to reach Level 40, which means you need the Student III title and to have reached that title's level cap. You also need to have completed at least four of the attached tasks in the third Core Courses Chapter: Vein's Power/Song of the Echobacks.
Which Quests to Complete for Wayfarer I
Any of these four quests must be completed:
- Earn the Bronze Collected Badge in Echoback Landing.
- Venture deep into the Mistwoods and obtain the Super Truffle.
- Infuse energy into the Branch in Breezy Plains a total of 15 times.
- Equip 1 Epic Held Item on an Aniimo.
- Nurture the ecosystem once in Breezy Plains.
When you have completed four and reached Level 40, you will unlock the Title Promotion Growth Story quest.
How to Get the Junior Wayfarer Achievement in Aniimo
To get the Junior Wayfarer achievement in Aniimo, you need to complete the entire Growth Story attached to the title promotion.
To start, you'll get a call from Dr. Lewis, who will direct you towards Berylline Vale and send you an invitation for a Midnight Concert. Head over to Berylline Vale for the concert, and you'll meet Loulla. Loulla is both hosting the concert, as short and unimpressive as it is, and will be your boss fight for the Wayfarer I assessment.
How to Beat Loulla in Aniimo
There's not much to do for the concert. Just tap through the story until the option to challenge her appears.
Loulla comes into the fight with three Level 40 Aniimo:
- Stellarys (Dark)
- Hexxin (Dark/Grass)
- Fragrancier (Dark)
Dark types are weak to Light, so that immediately tells you that having Helion or Lunara in your team is a huge advantage here.
Dark, Wind, and Fire are all "super effective" against Grass, but I'd only use Wind if possible because Wind is also super effective against Dark types.
Essentially, try for a team that has Light and Wind Aniimo, if you can. These are the best types to bring into this battle.
After the battle, head to the Outpost and speak to Dr. Lewis.
Aniimo Wayfarer I Assessment Answers
Dr. Lewis is back on his questionnaire nonsense. Here are the questions and answers for the Wayfarer I assessment in Aniimo:
- Which is the fastest way to obtain Sparkling Aniimo?
- Throw a Sparkling Cube at any Aniimo.
- Which of the following Aniimo has a healing skill that can restore HP?
- Glacy.
- How can you obtain Held Items that strengthen Aniimo abilities?
- Defeat the Alpha Aniimo.
What Talents Does Wayfarer I Unlock in Aniimo?
After you successfully answer Dr. Lewis' questions, you'll be taken to the Talents screen to upgrade your Talents again, just as you will have for all previous titles. You will only be able to upgrade your Talents if you have Report Cards, which are gathered naturally as you complete the Chapters that allow you to upgrade your title in Aniimo.
You'll gain another six Report Cards for finishing the quest, so don't worry if you've spent the others you've collected already.
Wayfarer I unlocks the active Talent Revive and the passive Talent Research Expert.
- Revive lets you revive Aniimo in your battle party.
- Research Expert (which has four levels) grants you additional Credits when you report data from Aniimo you catch at the Outpost. The first level of this Talent boosts your Credits by 7% when reporting.
Aniimo Wayfarer I Rewards
- Unlock Revive Talent.
- Unlock Research Expert Talent.
- Level cap raised to Level 45.
- 6x Report Cards.
You'll also have gained the various items and EXP from the quests you completed during Chapter 3, and gain access to Chapter 4.
