Big Walk: How to Complete the Playground Tea Pot Puzzle

The playground tea pot puzzle, also referred to as the gymnasium puzzle, is one of the many challenges in Big Walk that might leave you a bit stumped if you're a new player. Where to Find the Playground Puzzle in Big Walk

The playground puzzle with the yellow tea pots is located in the top-right corner of the map, near the giant wall. From the Black Tower, head northeast.

Above ground, the playground puzzle has a large, red structure with four cut-off red posts. There's a staircase that you and your party need to go down to get to the puzzle, which will have three rooms in total: a gymnasium-style playground in the centre, a room with black screens, and a room with empty puzzle slots.

How the Big Walk Playground Puzzle Works

There is a door on each side of the gymnasium that leads to the area with the screens and the area where the puzzle solution needs to be input. The player on the side with the screens needs to use the yellow tea pots to map out the sequence of dots shown on the screens by placing them on top of and around the structures inside the gymnasium/playground room.

When they're finished, they can close the door to the playground, which allows the player trying to solve the puzzle to enter. From what they can see in the room, they need to deduce where to put the dot puzzle pieces they have on the wall on their side.

The best thing to do before you separate is to decide which structure in the playground represents which section of the display wall.

How to Solve the Yellow Tea Pot Puzzle in Big Walk

There are four "shapes" grouped across the wall of screens:

1. A hook.
2. A single screen.
3. A backwards check mark.
4. A triangle.

To help the player solve the puzzle, each of these should be assigned to a playground structure, and the location of the yellow tea pots on that structure will indicate where the dots should go on the wall.

We used:

• The slide as the hook.
• The green-and-blue structure in the middle as the check mark.
• The platform that initially contained the tea pots as the single screen.
• The three red platforms as the triangle.

You have to get a little creative with the positioning and make it clear where there is a space by leaving an obvious gap. The downside is that the tea pots won't rest on any of the ramps, so we agreed that a tea pot next to a ramp represented it being on the ramp, and tea pots on the floor, away from the base of the ramp, represented those that followed.

The example above would be blank, dot, dot, dot for the hook; blank for the single screen; dot, blank, dot, dot for the slide; and blank, blank, blank for the triangle.

The person solving the puzzle also places the blank pieces on the wall. You need to hang the dots and blanks in place for the game to read the puzzle and check if you've solved it or not.
