Big Walk: How to Start the Train

While exploring the scenic world in Big Walk is the name of the game, it can get a bit frustrating and time-consuming to trek from one location to the next and possibly back again.

The train quickly becomes an extremely useful tool for you and your teammates to cut that time in half. However, first you need to get it moving again. If you're wondering how to get the train working in Big Walk, all relevant information has been included in this guide.

How To Find The Train Station

There are actually three trains (Red, Yellow and Green) in the game, but all go in a continuous loop around the same train track. So luckily, if you miss one, just wait a little while, and the next one will arrive shortly. However, while there are lots of different stops for you to hop on and off, there is one important train station to locate when unlocking the train to start with.

You'll know you're at the correct station when you see the lock for a Big Walk control key. This station is northwest of the Blue Tower and sits at the coordinates 3380, 1740, which is very easy to find when using the map or looking in the map room.

How To Unlock The Train

Unlocking the train works the same way as unlocking everything else in the game; you need to deliver the red buoy/blobs to a tower by completing puzzles. The tower you have to complete to receive the train key is the Blue Tower. If you look at your map (or in the large map room), you'll see the Blue Tower is located at the coordinates 3540, 1850.

There are five puzzles in the area around the train station (which can also be found on the map), so plan your route accordingly and utilise your backpacks to collect them quickly. Once you've completed the Blue Tower and followed the key-cutting boxes, you'll be led to the main train station, where you can insert your key and power up the train.

It should be noted that the train does not stop at platforms or stations, so you'll have to time it right to jump onto the moving carriages. Once one of your teammates is onboard, however, they can move to the front of the train and hold down the lever to make it halt. Once everyone is aboard, simply let go of the lever and be on your way to the next location.
