Loftia: How To Get Chest Keys

There are two types of keys in Loftia: Normal Chest Keys and Golden Chest Keys. Your typical Chest Keys are purple, while the Golden Chest Keys are gold (unsurprisingly).

There are a few different ways you can get hold of these keys, which are used to unlock the various chests you'll find around the world. Here's how you can get yourself some Chest Keys in Loftia.

Where to get Chest Keys in Loftia

You can find Chest Keys in Loftia by participating in Treasure Hunts, or you can craft Chest Keys at a Project Station. The easiest way to come by Chest Keys, both the regular and gold versions, is by playing the Treasure Hunt minigame in Loftia City.

This minigame happens every hour on the half hour, and you will get a notification to warn you five minutes before the game begins.

Once the Treasure Hunt begins, items and foragables around The Hills area will start to glow. You have five minutes to collect as many Scrap Bits from these glowing objects as you can, and you have a small chance of receiving a regular Chest Key every time.

There's an even smaller chance for you to receive a Golden Chest Key, so keep an eye on the clock for when these Treasure Hunts happen.

Scrap Bits are also used for crafting normal Chest Keys. Visit your Project Station and use 100 Scrap Bits to craft one Chest Key. Eventually, once you upgrade your Project Station to Lv. 3, you can craft Golden Chest Keys using 10 Chest Keys and 25 Blooms, which you get from partaking in Adventures.

Both of these keys are used for opening certain chests you can randomly find while exploring. A regular chest usually requires three Chest Keys, while a gold chest uses up one Golden Chest Key to open. Your reward in a normal chest is one random clothing item, while the gold chest gives you three items.
