Mortal Shell 2: Egon Guide (Feed Me Achievement)

Updated 2 min read

Mortal Shell 2 has quite a number of little side quests that you can go on, as any Souls game should. But much like other Souls games, there's very little explanation as to how these work.

One example is Egon, an NPC encountered within Castigator's Keep that will ask the player for a donation to their cause, being the gluttonous fella that he is. You might be at a loss as to how greedy this guy is. Allow us to set the record straight so you can walk away with the 'Feed Me' achievement - here's a complete guide to Egon in Mortal Shell 2.

Where Is Egon In Mortal Shell 2?

Egon is located in Castigator's Keep and can be reached via the Beacon of the same name. You will need to explore the walls to the right and find a break in the wall to access the courtyard where his tower is. But once inside the walls, you can then activate a lever that makes backtracking to the beacon take a matter of seconds.

How Much Gloom Does He Need?

When you reach Egon in his tower, he'll ask you for a donation, and what he's after is gloom. But the game never specifies how much Gloom you need to give him.

This means you can give him dribs and drabs if you like. But the clue is in the maximum you can offer. He requires 10,000x Gloom. At which point he will be sated.

Why Complete The Quest?

The reward for doing this task is pretty worthwhile, provided you have the Gloom to spare to get the instant gratification. When you give Egon 10,000x Gloom, he will return double on your investment, granting you 20,000x Gloom.

Plus, you'll earn the aforementioned 'Feed Me' Achievement which is associated with this quest.
