Mortal Shell 2: Hall of Murmurs Walkthrough

Every dungeon in Mortal Shell 2 is different from the next. One will have you blaze through hordes of enemies to survive, and another, like the Illusionist's Cache, will make you solve head-scratching puzzles.

Hall of Murmurs is different in that it makes you think there's a lot more to it than there really is. If you're wondering if you're missing something from the Hall of Murmurs dungeon in Mortal Shell 2, we'll break it all down for you in this walkthrough.

Hall of Murmurs dungeon guide in Mortal Shell 2

You'll find the Hall of Murmurs dungeon in the southern region of Mortal Shell 2, south of the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon. Once you breach this fortress, you'll find an area at the back where stairs lead underground to the dungeon entrance.

As soon as you get down the elevator, you'll be met with a small group of weaker enemies. Two of them have shields that you can only break by using your heavy attack. If you're already at this area of Mortal Shell 2's map, you'll likely find these enemies easy enough to tackle in one or two hits.

Behind the group is an archway blocked by a wooden door, so break down the door and enter this next room. Pick up the few bags of gold lying around this room, and walk up to the fireplace. You'll see a husk of a person kneeling by the fire in front of a Laterite you can pick up.

Once you grab the Laterite, the statue will slowly turn into one of those long-limbed enemies. Don't be surprised by their attacks, because this enemy can hit a lot harder than the others. You'll collect some Gloom and gold from taking down this creature.

Despite this dungeon being so short, that's all there is to the Hall of Murmurs! There's nothing else in this dungeon to do, so you can return to the entrance and continue to bigger and better things, like finding all main weapons in Mortal Shell 2.
