Star Wars Zero Company: Nebulous Pursuit Correct Planet Choice Guide
Here's a complete Nebulous Pursuit Operation Guide for SWZC!
Nebulous Pursuit is an Operation in Star Wars Zero Company that asks you to track down Kin Delima, a Republic Intelligence agent who disappeared while infiltrating Separatist Intelligence with an encrypted Republic data drive.
The Operation has two parts, and the correct planet depends on the clues provided in your briefing rather than being the same in every playthrough. So, to guide you through it, here’s a complete Nebulous Pursuit Correct Planet Choice Guide.
Nebulous Pursuit Operation, Explained
Nebulous Pursuit is an optional Opportunity Operation that you can launch from the HoloTable in the Den. Republic Intelligence asks Zero Company to locate Kin Delima, who disappeared with an encrypted Republic data drive after infiltrating Separatist Intelligence. The investigation eventually leads to the Infinite Coil.
The Operation costs 50 Intel, requires three Operators, remains available for 3 turns, and has a 30% chance to finish early. Most importantly, Nebulous Pursuit is a chained Operation. Therefore, successfully finding Delima in the first part will unlock Nebulous Pursuit II.
Nebulous Pursuit Correct Planet Choice
There is no single planet that is always correct. The game uses multiple versions of the Operation, and the clue given in your briefing determines which planet you need to select.
The easiest way to solve the first part is to ignore the common hyperspace-vector information and focus on the specific clue about what Delima acquired or what ship she was using. Below, we’ve provided a table that lists all possible clues and their correct answer planets.
| Briefing Clue | Correct Planet |
|---|---|
| Delima acquired a navigational computer designed for dodging asteroids | Bothawui |
| Port logs show Delima was flying a Nella 342 light freighter | Sullust |
| Delima acquired a forged prospector manifest | Mon Gazza |
What Happens If You Choose the Wrong Planet in Nebulous Pursuit?
Choosing the wrong planet will not normally result in an immediate catastrophic failure. Your team searches the selected location, fails to find Delima, and reports the limited information back to Republic Intelligence. The Operation then ends.
However, the bigger problem is that Nebulous Pursuit II will not appear if you fail to find Delima in Part I. Since the second part provides additional rewards, choosing the correct planet in the first part is crucial if you want to complete the 2-part Operation.
Nebulous Pursuit Part I Rewards in Star Wars Zero Company
The first part provides a few useful rewards, but successfully finding Delima is important because it unlocks the follow-up Operation. Below, we’ve provided all rewards that you can get from Nebulous Pursuit I:
- +3 Zone Influence
- +1,000 Credits and unlocks Nebulous Pursuit II
Nebulous Pursuit II Operation, Explained
Nebulous Pursuit II continues the investigation after Delima has been located. This time, Republic Intelligence wants Zero Company to stop Delima before she delivers the Republic data drive to her Infinite Coil contacts.
The second part also has three possible versions. However, unlike Part I, the available planets depend on where you successfully found Delima during the first part. This means you should remember your successful Part I destination before starting the second operation.
Nebulous Pursuit II Correct Planet Choice
These routes are directly tied to the version of Nebulous Pursuit II that follows your Part I choice. Below, we’ve provided a table that lists all three possible Part II routes:
| Part 1 Correct Planet | Part 2 Clue | Correct Planet |
|---|---|---|
| Sullust | Rimma Trade Route, long-haul fuel, Varada Sector maps | Koboh |
| Bothawui | Delima is reportedly trying to get away from the war | Saleucami |
| Mon Gazza | Forged documents identifying Delima as an exonium miner | Rishi |
What Happens If You Choose the Wrong Planet in Nebulous Pursuit Part II?
The consequences are more drastic in Part II because some incorrect destinations can injure the Operator or even lead to death if the permadeath mode is on. Below, we’ve listed all the wrong choices that you should avoid.
| Part 2 Route | Correct Planet | Wrong Planet |
|---|---|---|
| Sullust > Nevarro / Koboh / Lotho Minor | Koboh | Lotho Minor |
| Bothawui > Boz Pity / Nar Shaddaa / Saleucami | Saleucami | NA |
| Mon Gazza > Rishi / Hypori / Tatooine | Rishi | Hypori |
NOTE: Lotho Minor and Hypori have outcomes that can roll for injuries, so blindly testing destinations can be risky if your Operators are already injured.
Nebulous Pursuit II Rewards in Star Wars Zero Company
