How to Craft Wooden Boards in Palworld
Wooden Boards are easy to craft in Palworld, but some players are having issues making them at a workbench.
The first few hours of Palworld shower you with new crafting recipes as you level up, and Wooden Boards are some of the most important things on the technology tree. Some players are having trouble crafting Wooden Boards in Palworld, however.
You'll unlock the crafting recipe for Wooden Boards very early in your Palworld save, around the same time as more advanced weaponry and armor. If you're struggling to craft Wooden Boards, it's not your fault. There are some things that can mess with your Palworld progression after the 1.0 release!
How to Unlock Wooden Boards in Palworld
Wooden Boards are unlocked on level 15 of Palworld's technology tree. Once you reach level 15, you can unlock the crafting recipe for a single technology point. You can level up and get technology points by completing quests and capturing new Pals, and reaching level 15 should only take a few hours of gameplay.
How to Craft Wooden Boards in Palworld
To craft a Wooden Board, you need to combine 10 Wood, 5 Fiber, and one Nail are a Primitive Workbench. They're quick to craft, so you shouldn't need too much help from the Pals working at your base.
Wood and Fiber can both be obtained from trees. Fiber is considerably less common, but you can transform Wood into Fiber using a Crusher powered by a Water-type Pal. You'll need Ingots to make Nails, so a fire-type Pal and a Primitive Furnace should already be installed at your home base.
Mods can mess with Palworld's crafting recipes! If you don't see Wooden Boards, try disabling your mods.
If you can't find Wooden Boards in your list of crafting recipes, then you probably have a mod installed that's causing problems. Mods that mess with crafting recipes — especially those that increase Pal Sphere crafting rates — can break the game after the 1.0 release.
Disable all your mods and revert to a vanilla install to see if that was the issue after all, then start enabling your mods one by one to determine which one was the culprit.
With Wooden Boards, you can craft key upgrades like the High-Quality Workbench, bringing you closer to Palworld's most exciting endgame regions. You'll quickly find yourself in need of more advanced materials like Hardwood, however, so the grind isn't over yet!
