Palworld: How to Get Hexolite & Best Farming Methods

Here's how to get Hexolite in Palworld.

Updated 3 min read

In Palworld, Hexolite is a late-game resource that plays a crucial part in the crafting of legendary weapons, Pal accessories, and Exotic Spheres. I recently captured a gigantic fire snake (Jormuntide Ignis) whom I would love to create a saddle for, but of course in order to do so, Hexolite was a neccessity.

Hexolite facilitates the ability to use multiple majestic Pals as Mounts for combat and exploration, such as Jormuntide Ignis, Paladius, Silvegis, and Faleris - just to name a few. And so, the hunt for Hexolite Quartz begins! here is everything you need to know how to get Hexolite in Palworld, and the best farming methods for this resource.

How to Find Hexolite Quartz

Hexolite Quartz sticks out like a sore thumb. Its crystallised multi-coloured colour scheme catches your eye from miles away, especially amongst the red Feybreak Island grass. This special mineral appears taller, more jagged, and crystal-like; there's no way you'll accidentally confuse it with another material, unlike the uncanny comparison between Iron Ore and Pure Quartz.

You'll find that Hexolite Quartz is relatively plentiful across Feybreak Island, even if you're not seeking out a coveted farming location. Make sure you have an Advanced Pickaxe to speed up your mining process.

Aside from the huge deposits, you'll also find smaller versions of Hexolite Quartz embedded in the ground with a sparkling twinkle. If you're travelling across Feybreak Island on a mounted Pal, it's very worth spamming the interact button in the early stages of farming, just to boost your Quartz count.

Best Farming Location for Hexolite

This is the best farming location for Hexolite. You'll know if you've found the right location, as a curious NPC is positioned between the three clusters of Hexolite Quartz, with each cluster yielding a generous amount of Quartz.

Head to the coordinates -1062, -1426 in the south-western corner of the map, which will lead you to Feybreak Island, marked by the lotus icon on the image above. You could construct an additional base that covers these three Hexolite Quartz clusters if you want to maximise your bounty.

However, you'll need to be careful and employ your best evasion methods to avoid the dangerous gaze of powerful foes. As you begin flying across the land, you might find that a huge red warning appears on your screen, advising you to dismount - you will need to follow these instructions if you care about the life of your Pal.

Speed-running Dungeons is also an effective way of obtaining Hexolite Quartz, despite the tediousness.

How to Make Hexolite Ingot

After you've gathered enough Hexolite Quartz, you'll need to buckle up for the crafting process. Firstly, you'll need to construct a Gigantic Furnace, unlockable in the Technology Tree upon reaching level 58. There are some pretty hefty material requirements needed to begin the construction: 200 Flame Organs, 20 Ancient Civilization Parts, 100 Polymer, 150 Plasteel, and 12 Computers.

To fuse a Hexolite Ingot, you'll need 20 Iron Ore, 12 Hexolite Quartz, and 5 Chromite. As such, you'll have to get your hands on another precious mineral abundant across Feybreak Island before you can reap the rewards of Hexolite. Check out our full guide explaining how to obtain Chromite.

Construct a Hexolite Quartz Mine

After grabbing yourself 100 pieces of Hexolite Quartz, you should invest in a Hexolite Quartz Mine, which is unlockable in the Ancient Technology Tree after reaching level 62. You'll need 70 Stone, 10 Ancient Civilization Parts, and 100 Hexolite Quartz to kick off the construction.

Assign a mining Pal to the site to ensure a steady supply of Hexolite Quartz from your base; it's extremely handy to set up an automatic acquisition source, saving you lots of time for the future.

Lastly, Hexolite Quartz is also dropped by the Pal, Celesdir, if you desperately need a quick top-up and happen to see this beautiful mythical deer pass by you.
