Since the release of Palworld 1.0, there have been new passives that change the game and old passives that are more important than ever. To help point you in the right direction, we’ve compiled a list of the best Pal Passives in Palworld 1.0 for farming, combat, and exploration.

Best Farming & Work Passives

• Remarkable Craftsmanship: Work Speed +75%.
• Motivational Leader: +25% Player Work Speed.
• Babysitter: Egg Production and Incubation Speed +30% for Pals assigned to a Breeding Farm while at a base. 
• Ranch Master: Increases Pal Farming work suitability by +2.
• Demon’s Hand: Work Speed +90%. SAN decreases 15% faster. World Tree resources will not vanish when approached.

If you’re looking for the best overall Passive for speeding up Pal’s work speed, aim for Remarkable Craftsmanship, as it increases Work Speed by 75%. Meanwhile, if you want you as a player to be able to work faster, get a Pal with Motivational Leader, which can increase Player Work Speed by 25%. 

For improved breeding, get Babysitter to increase Egg Production and Incubation Speed by 30%. This will make hatching eggs and breeding in general a lot faster than before. For general farming, Ranch Master will increase Pal Farming work suitability by +2. This way, your Pals can work for more bases than usual.

Finally, the new Passive called Demon’s Hand has a pro and a con. Your Pal’s Work Speed increases by a whopping 90%, but SAN decreases 15% faster. It’s also useful for farming World Tree resources like Paloxite since it makes it so resources won’t disappear as you try to farm.  

Best Combat Passives

• Musclehead: Attack +30%, Work Speed -50%.
• Demon God: Attack +30%, Defense +5%.
• Burly Body: Defense +20%, Immune to Flinch.
• Legend: Attack +20%, Defense +20%, Movement Speed increases 15%.
• Immortality: Life Steal +5%, Pal auto health regeneration rate +100%, Attack +15%.

In terms of Pals who are used primarily for fighting, Musclehead is a good Passive to look for. Even though it decreases Work Speed by 50%, this won’t matter as its Attack increases by 30%. Demon God also increases Attack by 30%, but it also gives a slight boost to Defense by 5%.

Speaking of Defense, Burly Body makes your Pal immune to Flinch, which staggers your Pal, as well as increases Defense by 20%. Perhaps the best combat Passive out of this list is Legend, since it increases Attack and Defense by 20%, while also increasing Movement Speed by 15%.

Immortality is also an incredible Passive in terms of having a tanky Pal. Life Steal is increased by 5%, Attack by 15%, and their auto health regeneration rate is boosted by 100%. This will essentially make your Pal immortal, as the title implies. 

Best Exploration Passives

• Swift: Movement Speed +30%.
• Eternal Engine: Max Stamina +75% (Only valid for Rideable Pals).
• King of the Waves: +50% Movement Speed on water.
• Wellness Watcher: Stamina consumption reduced by 5%.
• Dimensional Leap: Movement speed +50%. World Tree resources will not vanish when approached. Hunger depletion rate +15%.

These exploration Passives are great for Pals who are mainly used for flying, swimming, or running across the open world. Swift gives your Pal a general Movement Speed boost of 30%. Specifically for Rideable Pals, look for Eternal Engine, as it increases Max Stamina by 75%.

In terms of Pals who swim in water, King of the Waves is the best Passive. This Passive increases the Pal’s Movement Speed by 50% when on water. There’s also Wellness Watcher, which reduces Stamina consumption by 5%. This doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s worth it in the long run.

Finally, Dimensional Leap is a World Tree Passive that increases Movement Speed by a whopping 50%. The downside is that it increases the Pal’s hunger depletion rate by 15%, but as long as you bring along a lot of food, this Passive is the best for having a speedy Pal.
