Palworld 1.0: How to Get Jetragon (Location, Breeding Guide, Stats, Work, & More)

That's one speedy dragon!

Updated 4 min read

Palworld 1.0 has over 200 different Pal species throughout the Palpagos Islands to discover and collect. However, some are more hard to come by than others, making certain Pals more difficult to obtain.

Jetragon is a popular flying mount and a strong Dragon Type Pal, and the only Pal in the game with a natural level 8 Gathering skill. If you're wondering where to get Jetragon, everything you'll need to know about how to obtain the Pal, its drops, work compatibilities, and more have been included in the guide below.

Jetragon Location in 1.0 & How to Capture

In Palworld 1.0, Jetragon is not generally available in a specified habitat across the Palpagos Islands, unlike many of the other Pals. Instead, it is a stationary level 70 Alpha Boss located on Sunreach Island, as seen in the screenshot above.

Sunreach is a new location in 1.0 consisting of several airborne islands that will be covered in fog the first time that players stumble upon the area. You will need to complete one of two methods to remove the fog and get a full map view of Sunreach, which we have covered in our complete Sunreach Islands guide.

However, the fog does not prevent you from being able to locate, fight, and capture Jetragon - it just may be a little bit harder to spot. To make things as easy as possible, bring a reliable flying Pal mount so you can fly across the islands to reach the pinpointed location above and spot Jetragon in its specified territory.

How to Get Jetragon Through Egg Hatching

In Palworld, there are numerous eggs located around the world at random spawn points. Be sure to keep a look out for them whilst you're out and about on your adventures in the Palpagos Islands! By collecting these eggs and placing them in an Incubator at your Base, you can hatch a variety of different Pals. Jetragon can be randomly hatched from Huge Dragon Eggs.

Jetragon Stats, Skills, Drops, & Work Suitability

In Palworld, Jetragon is a pure Dragon Type Pal. It has a base stat spread of 115 HP, 100 Melee Attack, 140 Magic Attack, and 120 Defense.

Jetragon's Partner Skill is called Aerial Missile, which not only enables Jetragon to be ridden as a flying Pal Mount, but also means it can rapid-fire a missile launcher while being used as a mount.

Jetragon Work Suitability

Jetragon has just one base work suitability, which is Gathering level 8. This means Jetragon may not be the best all-round choice for general base work, but it does make for an extremely efficient Pal if you're looking to do some mass farming, as a Gathering Pal is needed to collect all fully grown crops.

If you have a dedicated farming base established, then Jetragon is the perfect Pal to include, as it does have the base base level gathering out of every Pal in the game. You can always bump this up further to a level 10 Gathering skill with the use of Handbooks, ensuring you have the most efficient use of Jetragon's only task.

How to Unlock & Use Jetragon as a Pal Mount

To use Jetragon as a Pal Mount, you will need to unlock the Jetragon's Missile Launcher. In order to unlock this item, you must be at least level 79 or above. After reaching this level, it can be purchased from the Technology menu for 5 Technology Points.

It can be crafted at both a Pal Gear Workbench, and an Ancient Workbench. You will need a variety of resources to craft this item, though, including Leather, Paldium Fragments, Circuit Boards, Refined Ingots, AI Cores, Paloxite Ingots.
