Palworld: Where To Find Paloxite

Learn how to mine Paloxite and where its mining locations are in Palworld 1.0.

Updated 3 min read

Paloxite is one of the brand-new ore types in Palworld 1.0, and it’s useful for crafting a ton of endgame items like technology, armor, and weapons. It’s only good when it's turned into an ingot, though, so how and where do you mine it?

You won’t be able to craft valuable items such as the Wing Pack without it, so we’ll help you figure out where to acquire the resource. Here's everything you need to know about where to find and mine Paloxite in Palworld.

How To Get Paloxite In Palworld

Paloxite is only available to mine throughout the new World Tree area in Palworld. You’ll know you’ve found Paloxite when you see a glowing purplish-yellow rock. There are quite a few steps required to unlock this area, so check out our guide if you haven’t found this place yet.

Once you’re there, make sure to speak with the NPC you meet at the indoor entrance to the World Tree. She will give you some World Tree Holy Water, which you must consume before mining Paloxite. Otherwise, the ore will disappear if you get too close or attempt to harvest it.

This is why you should also use your best and fastest tool to mine this ore, since the World Tree Holy Water’s effects don’t last long. You can also catch or breed a Pal that has the World Tree passive, which prevents World Tree resources like Paloxite from vanishing.

Paloxite Mining Locations

The highest abundance of Paloxite ore veins is in the region at the very center of the World Tree map. It's northwest of the entrance to the World Tree, southwest of the Remnant Riverside Fast Travel Point. You'll find roughly six clusters of Paloxite, each with three rock veins to mine.

The next best place to mine Paloxite is closer to the World Tree's entrance, near the Whimsical Wisteria Grove and Alluvion Lakefront Fast Travel Points. You'll find lone Paloxite rocks along the path heading west toward the Dualith Alpha Pal boss. There are also some scattered around this boss arena.

If you keep heading west, you'll eventually make it to the Gilded City Ruins. There aren't as many Paloxite mining spots here, but you can still find a few. I was able to find four Paloxite rocks along the southern side of the Gilded City Ruins.

Finally, you can head south from here and find plenty more Paloxite rocks around the Spore Cloister Fast Travel Point.

How To Make Paloxite Ingot

Once you have Paloxite, make sure to unlock the Paloxite Ingot item on Tech Level 74. It costs only 4 Tech Points, and you'll need to smelt it in an Ancient Furnace, which is at Tech Level 66.

It doesn't just require Paloxite on its own; you'll need two Paloxite, one Soralite, and one World Tree Holy Water to make one Paloxite Ingot. You can get Soralite in the new Sunreach area introduced in the 1.0 update.
