Palworld: The 5 Best Accessories and How to Get Them

Throughout your Palworld journey, you may have suddenly realised that your Pals deal a significantly higher amount of damage than you. While diverting the enemy's attention, they usually keep you safe from harm while pumping out huge damage numbers. If you want to progress quickly in Palworld, you should bolster your favourite Pal's stats, which includes outfitting them with strong accessories.
But it's important to diversify your accessories and try to hit an array of buffs. It's no good picking up the best items if you have no Bag Space, and it's no point travelling to the mountains if you have no Cold Resistance. As such, here are my Top 5 Accessory Picks in Palworld 1.0, and some extra tips to help your adventure.
How to Unlock All 4 Accessory Slots
You might have noticed that there are 2 additional accessory slots that you cannot access, which is very frustrating to say the least, especially since you can't unlock them through normal quest or technology progression. But don't worry - there's an easy solution.
To unlock all 4 accessory slots in Palworld 1.0, you'll need to rendezvous with a Medal Merchant, who are most easily found at Churches.
The easiest Church to access is undoubtedly the Desolate Church fast travel point at 62, -417, which you would have likely picked up in the early game if you've found Zoey on the map.
Teleport over there and interact with the not-so-friendly Medal Merchant - he'll be selling two elixirs that you'll need to purchase with Dog Coins. The Mysterious Accessory Box unlocks the first slot for a low price of only 50 Dog Coins, with the Mystic Accessory Box priced a little higher at 300 Dog Coins to unlock the second.
You can obtain Dog Coins by defeating or capturing Mimogs, who appear as more extravagant chests and will speed away once you begin combat, defeating Human enemies, looting Chests, and rummaging through Metal Scraps.

How to Get Warsect Terra's Belt
Head over to Sakurajima Island to find the Warsect Terra's Belt schematic.
You'll find an Ancient Ruin on the south-western beach at coordinates -663, 34. But be mindful, as there are some particularly explosive birds that patrol the entrance.
To craft Warsect Terra's Belt, you'll need 40 Refined Ingots, 20 Honey, 35 Paldium Fragments, and 30 Ancient Lava. You can find the Ancient Lava in the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, and place a Beegarde in your Ranch to produce free Honey.
How to Get Vanguard's Charm
The Vanguard Charm schematic is over on Feybreak Island, so you might not be able to grab it until a little later in your journey.
You're looking for an Ancient Ruin that looks a little something like this, at coordinates -815, -850. Be careful of flying too high, as you'll be shot down by annoying missile installations.
To craft the Vanguard Charm, you'll need 30 Polymer, 30 Bones, 20 Flame Organs, 20 Ice Organs, and 30 Ancient Bones. Luckily, most of these materials are easily farmable by placing specific Pals in your Ranch - check out our full Ranching Guide. How to Get the Dogen Emblem Accessory
You'll need to unlock the Sunreach floating islands to obtain the Dogen Emblem Schematic, which requires you to defeat every Tower Boss in the Palpagos Islands.
As always, you'll need to solve a small puzzle to unlock the door to the Ancient Ruin at -301, -1504. This Ancient Ruin is very close to a fast travel location, making it very easy to go back and pick up if you missed it.
After you've obtained the schematic, you'll need to gather 20 Refined Ingot, 30 Bones, 35 Paldium Fragments, and 30 Ancient Bones. Despite being located in a pretty advanced region, the crafting requirements aren't too heavy, which is great news.
How to Get the Growth Acceleration Bell
As one of the easier accessories to hunt down, you won't need to travel very far. Head to Mount Flopie via the handy fast travel point nearby.
At coordinates -27, -94, you'll find your experience-boosting accessory. As it's situated in a relatively low-level area, the sooner you seek out the Growth Acceleration Bell, the better. If you want to progress fast in Palworld, it should definitely be your highest priority.
To match the low-level area, the requirements are also pretty low-effort. You'll easily find 25 Ingot, 30 Paldium Fragments, and 3 Ancient Civilization Parts on your daily travels; but the Mysterious Mushrooms are a little bit harder to come by.
You'll either need to chop down the big Mushrooms on Sakurajima Island or capture Shroomer or Shroomer Noct Pals for Mysterious Mushroom drops. Since you only need 10 Mysterious Mushrooms, you can easily dip into Sakurajima Island and spend a few seconds collecting them as a low-level explorer before running away from the scarily over-levelled Pals hunting you down.
How to Get the Islander's Tool Belt
To obtain the Islander's Tool Belt, you'll need to make your way to the very top of the map and find the Astral Mountains.
Head to the middle of the island, around the coordinates -143, 318. This one is a little bit harder to find. You're looking for an outcropping on the side of the mountain, as pictured above.
After heading inside the cave, you'll find an Ancient Ruin where you might have to defeat a cute little enemy to unlock your treasure.
Our final accessory also isn't too heavy on the crafting requirements, as you'll only need to gather 20 Refined Ingots, 40 Leather, 35 Paldium Fragments, and 30 Ancient Bark. You'll find Ancient Bark in the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary, southwest of the beginner island.
Of course, there are LOTS of other accessories in Palworld that you might opt to use, and that might fit your playstyle better. If you want to completely gear towards attack power, you should seek out and craft Batons - but be mindful that there are lots of different variations that benefit different elements. Match your Pal's elemental type to the Baton you're crafting.
