This is where tactical items come into play, as they allow you to use unique strategies to take down other players and turn the tide in your favor rather than relying solely on how good you are with a sword or a bow. That said, you may be wondering which is best. So, allow us to enlighten you. Here is a rundown of our top five favorite tacticals to use in Mistfall Hunter. 

All Tactical Items In Mistfall Hunter 

Before we explain which Tactical items are the best of the bunch. It's best that we outline all the different options available in the game. Here is a complete list of all the tactical items you can obtain in Mistfall Hunter. 

Note: we are only mentioning those that are listed as tactical items. We will not be considering consumables. 

Tactical Item	Description
Soul Separation Pill	Allows the player to create an ethereal version of themselves that can no-clip through walls and barriers. You cannot do damage but can mark players to reveal their position. If you or your ethereal version take damage, or you stray too far from your body, this effect ends.
Mimic Dust	Allows the player to transform briefly into an inanimate object commonly found in the environment. During this mimic action, you can move slowly but perform no actions. Taking damage will end this effect.
Monster Hunting Jar	Deals true damage to all monsters within the area of this throwable's explosion. This damage is based on a fixed percentage of the players' max health.
Spellbound Key	Can be thrown to immediately open or close interactable doors and containers.
Silence Dust	Increases interaction speed; interactions no longer produce sound. Crouched movement is also silent.
Shadow Dust	Allows you to enter the shadow veil, making you briefly invulnerable to the Gyldenmist.
Sludge Jar	When thrown at an area, it will reduce enemy movement speed and dodge distance. Also removes burning effects.
Revealing Bulb	Hitting an enemy grants them the Exposed status and reduces their dodge energy. When moving towards inflicted targets, you and all teammates gain a speed boost.
Concussive Bulb	Deals damage to all enemies in range and knocks them back.

Which Tactical Items Are Best? 

To be clear, all Tactical items have their uses, and, in the right situation, they could be the difference between winning a PVP fight, escaping a scuffle, or getting to a Woodling alive. However, some are definitely better than others. 

In our opinion, the best options are consistently the Spellbound Key, the Sludge Jar, and the Shadow Dust. 

The Spellbound Key allows you to open or close doors in a panic if a monster or PVP group overwhelms you, allowing you to put up a blockade and make a getaway. 

The Sludge Jar is a huge difference maker in PVP combat, as closing the gap between you and your foes is the hardest thing to do. But if they have limited movement and dodge energy, you'll be able to reel them in and whittle down their health much more easily. 

Then lastly, the Shadow Dust is a great utility item if you plan to stay the course in search of the best loot, as the Gyldenmist can pin you into corners, ensuring your death. But with Shadow Dust, you might be able to evade this and get to a safe zone.
