Here's how to get the Black Needle weapon in Mortal Shell 2.

Updated 3 min read

As you venture through the world of Mortal Shell 2, you'll find an array of weapons with different movesets. One of these unique weapons is the Black Needle, a two-handed spear that can pierce your enemies. You'll need to beat some pretty tough enemies to get this weapon, so we'll help you get the Black Needle in Mortal Shell 2.

Where to get the Black Needle weapon in Mortal Shell 2

You can find the Black Needle in Mortal Shell 2 at the Sester's Gate Beacon after cleansing it. It's right in front of the Corrupted Gate in the southeastern corner of the map. The only way to get to this Beacon by the Corrupted Gate is by heading straight through the Sester's fortress and either fighting or ignoring the enemies along your path.

Upon entering this Beacon, be wary of the katana-wielding enemy waiting right by the elevator and the flying bat creatures across the way. They will fly up to you and explode if you're not careful, so shoot them before they can act first.

You'll notice that there's a gap between you and the next platform. To make a path appear, hit the bell on your left. Walk over to the platform and shoot the next bell on the other side to continue the path.

In the next room, you'll find a large broken bridge, and you'll have to shoot three bells along the base of the bridge to connect it. The first bell is close to the start on its left side, the second is higher up on the right side, and the third is at the back of one of the last pillars.

Beware of all the enemies lingering below this bridge, as they can easily overwhelm you. Once you hit all three bells, you can now climb up the bridge and jump to the next platform, which leads you to the final bosses, who are the Twin Sesters.

How to beat the Twin Sesters

Both of these Sesters are brutal fighters, especially the one in red, as she can catch you in an attack where she overwhelms you with dozens of stabs. I would get rid of the ranged attacker first, as she's easier to kill.

Dodge her ranged attacks, get up close, and parry her swings to stagger her. Once she's dealt with, try parrying the red one's attacks as best you can. They come fast, but rushing her will only get you hurt.

It's not over when you take her down, because one final Sester shows up with her own boss health bar. She wields the Black Needle and will parry and stab you relentlessly if you try to rush her. I recommend using ranged attacks as much as possible.

Once you beat the Stray Sesters, you'll finally get the Black Needle weapon, as well as the Sester's Crest item.
