Palworld: How to Get Anubis (Location, Stats, Skills, & More)
The Pal who was once an idol, but is now known as a token of death.
With nearly 300 Pals being available to catch in Palworld, it can be tough to track down the exact one you're searching for. Certain Pals are simply better than others depending on their Passive Skills, Active Skills, and general stats. Anubis is one of those popular Pals, with how good they are at farming and working.
Anubis is a Ground-type Pal with incredible work suitability in Mining and Handiwork, and they're not so bad at Transporting. Finding your own Anubis is tougher than you'd think, but we're here to help! Here's a guide on how to catch Anubis and everything else you should know about this Pal in Palworld 1.0.
Anubis Location in Palworld & How to Capture
You will be able to find an abundance of Anubis on Sandstone Gate Islet in Palworld. Anubis only naturally spawns on this little island just north of Feybreak Island, west of Mount Obsidian. Spawning in the same location both day and night, you can reach this island by riding a swimming or flying pal.
Aside from normal Anubis Pals, you can also fight and capture a Level 55 Alpha Anubis. You can find this Alpha Boss in the Twilight Dunes.
You will need some pretty powerful Pals on your team to be able to defeat this Alpha Anubis, so don't go in unprepared. Since Anubis is Ground-type, have a Grass-type Pal with you to battle Anubis, as Grass is effective against Ground.
Anubis Stats, Skills, Drops, & Work Suitability
Anubis's element is Ground type, and they have Base Stats of 120 HP, 130 Attack, and 100 Defense. This Pal has the Partner Skill called Guardian of the Desert, which applies Ground damage to the player's attacks when they fight together. Anubis will also sometimes dodge attacks with a high-speed sidestep during a battle.
This Partner Skill makes having Anubis on your team very helpful against Electric-type Pals, since you and Anubis will simultaneously be dealing Ground damage.

Since Anubis makes the player's attacks Ground-type when fighting together, don't bring him out when battling a Grass-type Pal. Your attacks won't be as effective against a Grass Type, and Anubis will be vulnerable to more damage!
Anubis Work Suitability
Anubis previously had lower Work Suitability levels, but now they are at Handiwork Lvl. 6, Mining Lvl. 6, and Transporting Lvl. 4. This makes Anubis not only a decent battle partner, but also incredibly useful when it comes to crafting, construction, and mining ore.
Not only that, but with a decent level in Transporting, Anubis would be good at an ore farm (such as Paloxite ore) as they could mine the rocks and transport the ore to storage themselves. I would keep the Alpha Anubis for battling, and some normal Anubis for your ore farms.
