Big Walk: How to Solve the Blue Room Puzzle

Big Walk is full of different puzzle-based objectives for you and your friends to complete. These puzzles are crucial, as they teach different mechanics of the game, offer handy rewards, and open up new areas to explore and keep your big ol' walk going.

One of the first puzzles you may encounter is the blue room puzzle in the starting exploration area. This is an important one to check off, as you'll need to complete it and collect the prize in order to unlock the next area of progress and truly set out on a much more open and adventurous expedition. If you're wondering how to find and complete the blue room puzzle, this guide will walk you through the process.

How to Solve the Blue Room Puzzle in Big Walk

First you will need to locate the blue room puzzle. However, it will be a while until you can gain access to a map in Big Walk. Luckily, the first area, while open, is a rather manageable size to navigate. We've also pinpointed the location below to help you save time.

As seen on the map screenshot below, to find the blue room puzzle, you should turn left when exiting the initial spawn room tunnel and follow the path up the hill. Eventually, you should manage to see the blue room-like structure in the distance, so head on over.

You will need two people for this puzzle. To begin, one of you needs to step inside the room. Now, the other person needs to hit the button outside to close the door. Once the door is closed, a series of symbols will appear on the inside.

Now the person on the outside needs to walk around to the right of the room. Here there is a window and a series of white square boards with different symbols on them. The job is to essentially pick the correct corresponding matches to the symbols appearing on the inside of the room and line them up in order on the wooden hanger on the right-hand side wall.

This should be easy enough; just have your friend on the inside describe the symbols to you, then rummage through the options to find one that matches. You can even double-check that you have a match by holding the symbol up in front of your friend at the window.\

Once you have every symbol lined up on the wooden hanger in order, head to the button on the other side of this same wall and press it. If you have completed the puzzle correctly, the screen by the button will calibrate and show a green symbol to show that you have passed. The red buoy will now be released from the lock and fall down to the ground as confetti sprinkles over you in celebration.

Congratulations, you have now completed the blue room puzzle and can take the buoy and place it in the compartment at the beach. This is one of several buoys you need to obtain to unlock the key in this beach compartment.
