Moonlighter 2: Complete Bloblets Guide

Moonlighter 2 is packed full of different unlockable resources and items, such as new weapons and weapon upgrades, bonus passives and advantages for your dungeon runs, new clothing items, patches and armors, and more. One of many unlockable and usable resources in the game is a type of creature named Bloblets.
Bloblets are animal-like critters that each have a different bonus effect for running your shop during the daytime. However, in order to obtain Bloblets, you will need to collect enough coins. If you're wondering how to unlock Bloblets in Moonlighter 2, as well as how to get Bloblet Coins and the different effects they offer, then all relevant information has been included in the guide below.
What Are Bloblets in Moonlighter 2 & How to Unlock
In Moonlighter 2, Bloblets are little bunny-like creatures that become purchasable from the town vendor named Zany Jane, at her shop named Plush Pals. It can be found in the top left section of town.
After the first few days of progression, you will unlock the left side section of town, where you can go and meet Zany Jane. Upon doing so, her Bloblet, Mr. Spots, will decide that he wants to vanish right in front of you. Zany Jane will then ask you to help find Mr. Spots and give a hint to the type of places he likes to hide - this becomes a side quest known as Fleeing Little Rascal, which needs to be completed in order to gain access to Bloblets for yourself.
Where to Find Mr. Spots (Fleeing Little Rascal Quest)
Thankfully, Mr. Spots hasn't gone too far, so you can just go for a quick little wander to get him back home with Zany Jane.
Simply follow the path down from her shop all the way to the bottom, passing two other shopkeepers along the way. Now you can continue following the tail until you find Mr. Spots just hanging out on a little hill.
Just walk up to him and press the interact button to send him off back home. You'll even get your very first Bloblet Coin for doing so!
How to Get Bloblet Coins in Moonlighter 2
Just like many other resources in Moonlighter 2, Bloblet Coins are one of the many in which can be accumulated throughout your nighttime dungeon runs. Bloblet Coins can be obtained by completing Bloblet events, which involve clearing waves of enemies or navigating puzzles to reach a Bloblet within the area in time.
If you succeed, you can interact with the Bloblet and get a Bloblet Coin before progressing to the next stage. If you fail, the little Bloblet will disappear and you will miss out on your chance to earn a coin until the next time a Bloblet event path occurs.
Unlike many of the event markers that are listed on your screen, Bloblet encounters are not. So that you can learn to recognize this symbol and never miss a Bloblet rescue to help maximize coins, a reference image of how the Bloblet encounter event looks on the path progression map has been included below.
How to Use Bloblets
After purchasing your first Bloblet, you will be able to find it in your store. Upon entering, the Bloblet will be perched to the left of where your Relic displays sit.
This is called your Bloblet Sanctuary. Interact with this station to choose between different Bloblets you'd like to utilize for your shop day.
And lastly, but most importantly, you can and should pet whichever Bloblet you decide to put on display! You'll even earn the bonus achievement 'Pet the Bloblet' by doing so - easy as that!
All Bloblets & Their Effects
There are 12 different Bloblets in total that can be unlocked and purchased as companions for your shop. Every Bloblet and the effect/passive they provide for your shop has been listed below:
- Mr. Spots: The next 3 Relics will sell for 50% more.
- Prickle: The next 3 Relics you place in a display case gain 10 quality.
- Rumblet: Increase the Tip by 50 Gold for each Relic already sold.
- Korterra: Relics sell for 20% less but grant 2 random materials.
- Blobmagoden: Increase Popularity by 20% for each Popular Relic already sold.
- Guyblob Threepup: For the next 5 seconds, each sale increases the tip by 500 Gold.
