Mortal Shell 2: How to Get the Great Martyr's Blade

One of the earliest weapons you can acquire in Mortal Shell 2 is the Great Martyr's Blade, a hefty two-handed sword that can take a decent chunk of damage from your enemy. Usually, weapons in this Soulslike are hidden behind dungeons that are tough to find and sometimes even tougher to crack. Luckily, we're here to help, so here's how you can get the Great Martyr's Blade for yourself in Mortal Shell 2.

Where to find the Great Martyr's Blade in Mortal Shell 2

You'll find the Great Martyr's Blade in the Martyr's Prison Dungeon in Mortal Shell 2. It's just north of the Citadel of Penance Beacon, but it's not easily accessible from there. To find this dungeon, start from the Gloomshade Grove Beacon and go left through the tunnel until you reach the outside of the Citadel.

Go right along the path toward the back of the fortress and take care of the enemies camping out. Once they're dealt with, you should see the dungeon entrance behind the wooden boxes.

Upon first entering the dungeon, head down the elevator and interact with the strange item on the table. You'll pass out and wake up in Martyr's Prison, but you still have your weapon, so break the door to escape your cell.

Take down the long-limbed enemy on your left, then break the nearby cell door. There's a button on the back of the wall in this cell, so press it to enter the following room.

Before you can get the Great Martyr's Blade, you'll have to fight and defeat a large enemy. This guy can turn into a ball, rush to roll over you, and even push spikes out to hurt you if you get too close. Focus on dodging at the right times and dealing damage from afar to avoid the spikes, and you'll eventually defeat him.

Your reward for completing this dungeon is the Great Martyr's Blade, so take it, and you can return to the dungeon entrance!
